Reviews and Ratings
After traveling for 20 hours, I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful attic room recently converted into a spacious bedroom in the basement. The hotel was nice and roomy, making my stay comfortable. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and even arranging a taxi for an early morning pick-up. The location was perfect, near the tram stop and within walking distance of the old town, zoo, cafes, and shops. The dining experience was delightful, offering outstanding options in a calm and quiet setting. Overall, a great value for money with excellent facilities.
After a tiring 20-hour journey, I was delighted to find the hotel's convenient location near the tram stop at the marketplace. The room was hot and lacked proper ventilation, but the lift access made the tiredness fade away instantly.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were lovely, featuring a separate seating area. They were just the right size, very clean, and a nice touch was the nightly story tale left for me. However, being located close to the elevator made it a bit noisy. The service was excellent with everyone being very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a prime spot in the Old Town, allowing me to explore Basel easily. Dining was excellent in a calm setting, although the breakfast took place in what seemed to be an old expanded wine cellar. Overall, a great experience with a few minor drawbacks.
